Finally Home Audio

I've approved everything, gotten the cover for the audio books and now it is in the hands of ACX to finalize everything.  Here is what the audio cover looks like:

I'm trying to figure out how to add the sample audio file so that I can start promoting the audio version, but have yet to figure that out.  As soon as I do, the audio file will be on the sidebar of my blog.  Once you hear the sample file, how about dropping by Sienna Beckman's website and leaving her a note on what a great job she has done.

Audio books are available through amazon.com, audible.com and itunes.  So hopefully within the next day or two this will go live.  See you all in the postings - E :)

Thanks, Susanne. I'm looking forward to seeing how the audio will do. I'm thinking of making sample CDs to pass out at events for promotion of the audio book. I will keep ya'll posted on everything. - E :)

I don't usually listen to audio books, but this sounded good. And I think the cover is outstanding. Congratulations!

Thanks, Karen. The cover is the same cover as my print/ebook cover but adjusted as per ACX guidelines (basically an audio cover is to look like a CD cover). I'm hoping within the next week or less that the audio book will go live. Awaiting ACX's validation, which I've been told could take up to 20 days and as it has only been a couple of days over a week I just have to wait. I'm also in the process of putting the state stories up as audio books and see how that goes, but again am waiting for the validation from ACX.

I think Sienna looks and sounds like how I pictured Kelly in my mind and I'm glad I got her as my narrator. Hoping there will be more in the series with Kelly and I'll be able to work with Sienna again. Thanks for stopping by - see you all in the postings - E :)
