Agent contract signed

WillowRaven who did my logo, which is visible on my side bar under the about me section, is now my agent and I already have a 50 story deal in the works.

The contract was officially signed at about 1:30 this morning and now all I have to do is get all my state stories done (well not all at once but at least one a month to turn in) - and hopefully these stories will be big sellers. I kind of want to make them interactive for the kids but not sure I can do that - will have to play around with it.

Anyway - here is WillowRaven's info in case you want to check out her illustrations or other things she does - E :)

Elysabeth,
Here's a list you may want to look at that has been discussing your agenty and her company. Don't know if their concern is legit. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/childrens-writers/

I hate to burst your bubble. But, this is a complete scam! Signing a 50 book deal is jaw dropping. It has never ever happened before unless you're writing the entire Britannica encyclopedia. Just make sure that you don't give them any money to publish your book. I don't even know how they're going to publish it with a marketing plan. It would cost about a billion dollars on marketing alone.

Janet Daily had a 50 book deal with Harlequinn years ago. She wrote a romance set in every state, so right away I suspect "anonymous'" veracity. Plus, a person who is certain s/he is telling a helpful, relevant truth has no reason to hide his/her name.

Great job, Elysabeth. I'm jealous, but I see no reason (and have no right) to try to burst your bubble.
